Cheruvu Ravi Chandra is the FIRST Deaf & Dumb Magician of A.P. He lost his speech & hearing capacities in his early childhood due to attack of Meningitis. He learned the art of Magic from his magic Teacher, Mr C.V. Ramana of Hyderabad and given about 2000 Magic shows in India and abroad (Sultanate of Oman in 2004, UAE in 2007 & USA in 2008)since 1996. His name was recorded as NATIONAL RECORD OF INDIA in LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS twice (1998 & 2009). He won the 1st PRIZE for INDIA in the Magic competetions in 8th World Deaf Magicians Festival held at Nagpur, India in Jan.2000. He participated in 12th World Deaf Magicians Festival held at USA in April 2008 and was adjudged with 3rd PRIZE for INDIA in Magic Competetions.

The English proverb "Behind the success of every MAN, there will be WOMAN" has been reversed in case of Ravi Chandra.
